Title: air con pump removal
Post by: omegod on 15 May 2017, 18:22:59
2.2 pet, belt off, I've removed 3 bolts from the face and undone the pipes, it won't budge...have I missed one bolt or are they stupid tight?

Hi omg.

Never done one on this motor but based on removing lots of others.....

They're normally is a couple of dowels and a gentle prying will release it. Normally they just fall off. So I reckon you've missed a bolt. They're normally held on with four anyway

I'll check my Haynes in a bit if no one confirms 😁

update,3 x bolts on the front and 3 x 13mm bolts on the back, lower passenger side rear one is a bugger as it's blocked by the subframe, just in case someone googles this in 2022   :D
