Title: throttle whistle

Many, many pages open upon the use of google but did anyone with a 2.2 dti solve the throttle whistle issue once and for all? vacuum leak? blown turbo? duff exhaust? all seem to be pointed at but nothing resolved. Mine seems to whistle after 1.5 rpm, rises in pitch and then tails off every time the loud pedal is pressed.

Never had turbo whine, so unsure. One needs to investigate some youtube clips to see ;)

Yep defo turbo  :( So replacement turbo to be sought :y
