Title: Omega replacement sorted out
Post by: symes on 29 May 2017, 02:00:38
As said yesterday got given a car that stood at back of our yard for 2 years-well I put petrol in it and a battery  changed brake pads all round and passed MOT no adviseries--no inspector not blind-cars is solid as rock  :y very simple to work on but F ugly its got a 2.3 litre 4 pot +turbo and 138bhp but yesterday changed cam fitted adjustable boost controller and boost gauge and ECU remap and larger MAF sensor--210bhpNot bad for single cam 8 valve eh :y :y

Having driven a BMW m235i a few times, I could disagree with the that statement on the back  ;D

Looks like a good work horse though, fewer of those about than Omega.  :)

Nice!  8)

Love the prancing moose, where did you get the stickers? I've only seen them online from a US supplier. Quite fancy a pair for the s80.

That looks a great example :y :y

My brother-in-law had the money and opportunity to buy many top of the range cars, but he bought a 2 year old (F reg) Volvo, one of those that looks like yours but had a large engine with turbo that Volvo put in their trucks. He kept it for 20+ years as he said they are built like tanks and never wear out. He did own a very successful body shop, but his Volvo never needed any work.

Superb cars :-* 8)
