done for the weekend....
Worked Sat
Sun morning went to garden centre and bought runner bean seeds and a couple of patio planters. Gonna try growing the runner beans in these this year as a couple of years ago when planted in the garden they totally got eaten by slugs snails, even tho I used slug pellets :(
Popped the seeds into a seed tray and that's sitting in the kitchen window.
Then over to my mums and cooked a roast dinner for her and myself.
Today I have been clearing 2 years of neglect and dumped rubbish from the patio.
Filled 7 garden waste bags....one bag I filled with a rusty gas bbq I dismantled. another bag was full of a small plastic greenhouse, again dismantled. Other 5 were filled with general crap I had dumped out there! ::)
Probably will take me a month to get rid of those bags in the wheelie bin ;D
Just started to rain now.....and I'm knackered, having a well deserved, I reckon, old speckled hen :)
Dinner tonight is beef and kidneys in a red wine sauce that I threw in the slow cooker this morning :)
Just ordered one of these to replaced the dumped gas bbq......could be rubbish.... :-\

Finished work at 8am. Not back until 8am Saturday. Got a lot to do this week though - dependent on weather, energy level, motivation...

When I saw the title, my first thought was that you'd had the news that you were about to kick the bucket! :o ;D

And me ! Quite relieved. The list of jobs was immense. Reminds me of our mountain to be climbed when we getback to thegrindstone on Saturday. Hope the speckled hen is going down well. Our Spanish Lidl is doing Marstons pedigree this week. When i get there i will buy all they have left for my err cellar.

Just back from visit to Gilbert White Museum/House in Selborne. Fascinating visit particularly as it incorporates the Lawrence Oates collection giving insight to Scott's expedition which ended in his death in 1912.

Then called in at Medstead Station on Watercress line to do a bit of railway photography.

Finished work noon on Saturday then it was shopping/housework/dog walking.Yesterday it was world superbikes at Donnington.Today weather no good for working on Omega even if I could've found the enthusiasm to do so-which is doubtful but always handy as an excuse not to go anywhere near it.Tomorrow it's back to the daily grind.

Should have popped in for a cuppa. About 1/2 a mile from here. :y
Was a bit cooler last time I had the camera out there.
