STEMO..can you not boot up in safe mode and then do a system restore to a previous date like you can on win 7 ?
-
have you got the win10 installation cd or if not go onto Microsoft website and download it for cd or flashdrive then put it into the pc and boot it into bios and change 1st bootup device to either cd or external usb drive then reboot and choose the option to repair my pc but be careful you don't wipe the HDD. :y

No. Going through the various 'fixes' online, Microsoft advised deleting the graphics card driver and the going to updates to reinstall. When we removed the drivers all hell let loose, lots of problems including no internet access and none of the diagnostic tools working.
I've now returned it to 'out of the box', it's reloaded windows but it told me that drivers were missing (no shit). It let me connect to the internet to fix this, but it's just switching off and going back to the country/language/time menu constantly.
Sammy is not coming out. I only bought it in February.

If only I had a pc to do that with ;D I don't think it's Windows that's the problem, it's a system error.

The thing that pisses me off is that the old toshiba laptop downloaded the update just fine.

I`m fairly sure that is this update which has screwed with my PC too, when it comes out of sleep it`s like a really bad VHS recording >:(
It only happens when coming from sleep, I can be on it for hours with no problems whatsoever but leave it for 15 minutes and it starts playing up :-\

Keep saying these time and time again, dont do any OS Updates, Version changes, Enhancements etc, unless you got the means at hand to roll it back or revert to a Back Up to to how it was before.
In Windows 10 turn off Automatic Updates to 'Let Me Decide' or what ever they call it these days, easy enough to do a System Restore in Win10 using the Win7 features built in, ensure there is plenty of HD space of C: for this to work, but dont rely on it, do regular Image Back Ups (again using the Win7 Tools within Win10) or HD cloning using a 3rd Party Apps.

Computer all sorted, btw. Those nice chaps from PC World sorted it out.
