Just the one. Spent all yesterday afternoon up a ladder painting the back of the house (quite high up, gulp, my knees were knocking a bit, till I got used to it).
Anyhow, I have one lobster-red arm and one white one. Quite fetching really. ;D

Climbing tall ladders is a young mans game.
Stick to watching Emmerdale Farm from the comfort of your bed.

Yes, I know, but look at the alternative. Paying people money for something you can do yourself is frowned upon in Barnsley.

I agree. Most so called 'tradesmen' are simply people who f*cked about at school and left without any qualifications.
Next thing you know is they buy a van and suddenly become expert in drains/gardens/guttering/roof repair/drive cleaning/tree cutting/ the list is endless.

Mr Rods. Despite my regal birth I'm very 'hands on'......especially with the new scullery maid. :)

The front of the house was planned for today, but I caught a severe dose of CBA from Jaime. Yesterday's work was not planned, spur of the moment. I find that works so much better than dreading the job and making excuses until you have none left.

Cleared my gutters out last week, front one was full with moss. Going up and down the ladder wasn,t the problem, it was lifting the sodding thing. It was a 4.8m double extending one, shan,t be doing that again in a hurry, the bruises are just starting to appear. ;D
