Yeah, when you drive a modern car, you realise how rubbish the Omega air-con is.
Also with the VW, I find how effortless it is in keeping the car cool. Where as the Omega it sounds like a damn wind tunnel, even when working as it should ;D

None of my Omegas had "bad" aircon, but it did seem the fan had to work hard to get the cold air into the cabin. The FL seem particularly bad, but would have to suggest it must be the controller, as the vents and ducting are essentially the same... ...unless that carbon pollen filter is restricting airflow :-\
Also, like any car over about 10yrs old, its going to need regassing more often. TBE lasted 13yrs on its original gas, but had to be regassed last year (and again this year, due to a leaky valve). Mrs TB now says the cold air makes her arm hurt - no pleasing some ;D

More years ago than i care to remember we went fly drive to Florida and hadan upgrade to a pimp mobile. It had cruise control and the best air con ever. It was socold evenI couldnt bear it.

Snap! In 1990 we had a 5 litre Ford Crown Victoria 6 seater, everything electric, sedan. The ac was fabulous!
My Omega's climate control I have found to be very good and indeed better than my daughters new 7 seater Renault Scenic system. However, my system is all new! 8) 8) 8) :y
