Post by: frostbite on 23 June 2017, 15:43:03
I made a code flasher for my volvo 850, I need to know if the pin out is the same so I dont blow it up

My plan was to add a 3 way slider switch  to swap  moduals

Given your car is NOT OBD compliant, you might be lucky. Then again...

What could be the worst that could happen?

I have this set to the engine but with the slider will hopefully flash the climate and gearbox

Bit I need to know which pin does what, I will try and find the volvo pin out again

Why not just use a paperclip. Pretty certain the 2.0l doesn't flash out to the (non) OBDII port, as it flashes to the dash instead.

Look up Paperclip test

That was the point with the 850, but if it wont work I wont bother, I know the pedal trick works but this flashes slower and each code is flashed by pressing the button
