Title: Just let sonny boy have his first sit in the drivers seat
Post by: STEMO on 03 July 2017, 14:44:00
Jeez....I won't do that again in a hurry, I'm not sure he has the aptitude. He got it moving in first in a long, narrow car park, I'd already told him about clutch and brake if we needed to stop. We were reaching the end of the car park, when I said "gently on the brake". Of course, I didn't have my seatbelt on, but I think the lump on my forehead will go down quickly. It's more of a red mark than a lump, really.  ;D

If you think he is that bad you should see some of the people around here and they've apparently passed a test.

Before my my brother passed his test, he begged me to let him park my old v6 estate
We were in an empty sainburys carpark and he got scared when the front of the car rose up compared to the naff corsa he was learning in

was funny

I had my first driving lesson aged 10 on my Dads 'Little Grey Fergie' tractor.  :y

When he decided I'd got the hang of it, he let me off on my own round the field while he went in for a cuppa.  I thought, I wonder what happens if I let the clutch off quickly? and promptly did a wheelie!  :o  ;D

Luckily the 'Old Man' didn't see this and by the time he came back out I'd stopped shaking and was merrily going round and round, although a bit too fast for his liking!  ::)  :)

The marks the missus will leave when she finds out will disguise/hide it ;D

No wonder the kids around Milton Keynes can't drive, the poor bastards can't see once they have all their electronic gadgetry stuck all across the windscreen.
