How easy is it to change the above two service items? Thanks.

Very
Air filter has 3-4 clips depending on ifthe one closest the wing is still present.
oil filter can be reached upto when under or depending on engine from the front looking down behind the radiator

Fuel filter trickier, depending when it was last done. In theory, all you need to do is release the filter from it's holder to lower it to gain better access, then prise off the clips from the old filter and push them on the new. Be patient, try not to split the end of the clips in removing them If one does split it can be made secure with a small cable clip.

Actually five or six torx screws on newer Omegas ;) Still takes less time to change than to type :D
Saloon fuel filter has maginally better access than estates, but both a fiddly ten minutes ;)

Might be worth getting fuel filter pliers if not done one before. Definitely not essential, but takes a lot of the fiddliness out of it.

air filter is so easy it doesn't have a guide.
here is the guide for the fuel filter on an estate, saloon much easier http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90548.0

Air filter easy so long as the torx screws, if it has these, haven't been rounded off or badly corroded. :-\ One or 2 of mine were. Had to use a dremmel to cut a slot if I remember rightly. Slowly, so as not to melt plastic underneath. :y

That is a problem on some. Most I've seen are OK, a few are completely corroded, and yet seemingly no middle ground.

Usually when VX serviced....When I got my 2.2, I was taking it to Vx dealer for servicing, just so they couldn't get out of any warranty claims....At about 60k miles I was experiencing loss of power....turned out the air filter had never been changed....proven by the state of the air filter and very rusted up torx screws! I had to gently tap a torx driver into heads so that I could get a bite... >:(

I replaced my air filter housing with the older type with clips, as all the screws were rusted beyond help. ::)
