Title: Top hose
Post by: flymofred on 18 August 2017, 11:44:00: Morning, sorry about posting in the wrong section, I'm still not allowed to post in Trading
I need a top hose for my car it's a 53 plate 2.6 elite estate. The part no. is 9240144, my local Vauxhall garage gave the no. But apparently it's no longer a stock item. I can't seem to find any in the usual places.

Post by: TheBoy on 19 August 2017, 09:40:49: If you're not desperate, I would get your dealer to order in. Dealers are going to stock any Omega specific spares now.

If Vauxhall have any in the UK, they can normally get next day. If they have to come over from Opel, its normally 2-3 days. If Opel are out of stock, that's when the wait times can get silly... ...but your dealer can advise if Vauxhall have stock, and if not, if there are any in Germany.

The hose as you look into the engine bay is on the right hand side it rises vertically as it leaves the block, this is the section I cut and fitted an intermediate thermostat into, it then comes forward and joins the rad on the top right hand side.. the engine is a 2.6 V6 (53).
