as a lot you know last night there was some frantic action on ebay and the forum which ended up with me purchasing a vehicle from mr Jamesv6cdx..
WOOOPEEEE it's here, sitting proudly outside the house!! What a legend that man is. Despite going slightly wrong on the way, nevertheless there was even an upside to that. I used my poorly Elite to get to him so he could follow me back and Dr James' diagnosis was no head gasket failure!! as many of you had already insisted!
So just another investigate and clean session at some point!
WAHEY! I actually told Mrs Dippy that i'd bought another car!! and no slaps!
WOWZAA! - i can fit a house in the boot!
WOOSAAR! - I have now entered the LPG zone... ooh a whole new world awaits..

Half of my school was named after him....Bader Hall.
Is that just off the "Spitfire Island"?
Used to be about 44p a month ago...might be up to 46/47 now...

ooh thanks for all the tips guys. i'll have to hunt for that castle vale place!
i've done a search on petrolprices.com and it's got 58.9 as my closest at a texaco in Kingstanding. but a range of 53.9 - 61.9 within 10 miles of here! weirdly i have a local BP that put the pipes in for lpg years ago but still no pump :(!!
there's a place called Autogas on Cuckoo bridge too that advertise on their website at 48p. Weird that petrolprices doesn't find them eh!
either way it's so much nicer than 111.9!! :y :y

Yes it's after Spitfire island. Parallel to the m6 infact, on the way to the tip. It's the Flogas depot and i went to check the price today...
46 pence a litre :o :o :o :o :o
hehe ;D ;D happy days! i only hope norwich union pull their finger out and insure my lpg by the morning!!!
-
address please dave lol
-
It's Orton Way, B35 7BT.
their details:
http://www.flogas.co.uk/gas-finder/midlands/birmingham/flogas-direct-birmingham/
helpfully and confusingly there is a Flo-Gas branch finder on the website
http://www.flogas.co.uk/gas-finder/?cylinder=0
that lists all the suppliers nationwide. But make sure you ring them first as i just tried my more local Kingstanding stockist and they only sell Autogas in tanks for garages to sell on. they don't fill cars!!
hey ho i'm off to castle vale now :)
well, castle bromwich business park anyway.
Silly Norwich Union want a certificate of installation tho!
