Title: Auto Trans Fluid - Where?
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 08 August 2008, 12:29:42
Guys, where is the cheapest source of Dex3 ATF? Halfrauds, or other?

I can't order online - I need about 7 litres by the morning  :-X

Cheers
James

Opie are quick.  Halfords is £20 for 5l of Coma DIII, cheaper on trade.  Not convinced by coma though...

I've ordered 10l of Titan 4000 from Opie on their free delivery service, came in about 2 working days.  Bet they do overnight service  :-/

I can't risk it not coming - need to collect from somewhere.
What about VX? Is that on their trade club?

£7 per litre iirc.  Not TC item, as you well know, and I know you have access to online price list  ::)

It's not an ATF change - gearbox change...

Why not just put the Comma DexIII in for now, run it for a couple of K then change it for the Fuch's DexIII?

I would just swing by a local motor factors and pick some cheapie stuff up. If you're concerned about the quality you can always swap it when you know the gearbox / rest of car are fine.
