Title: The NHS
Post by: aaronjb on 13 September 2017, 21:22:33
I can confirm, not the fastest organisation in the world, but they did manage to take me from A&E to completed hernia repair in three days and didn't kill me in the process.

The agency nurses that work at night though.. hell. English comprehension really needs to be made a hiring requirement!

Did you want a nurse ? Then put up with the communication issues.

Anyway, get well soon.

Firstly, get well soon chap!  :y

On the NHS:

I have found it to be really luck of the draw with the NHS, even within the same hospital. Our local is Worcester Royal, one of the worst performers in the U.K.

They had my dad in there 2 weeks for a serious blood infection and, after getting him on the mend managed to damn near kill him. In contrast, when I took SWMBO following complications with a gall bladder removal, we couldn't have asked for better.

Strewth, Aaron. I'm surprised 'a young stud about town' your age has suffered in this way.

Hope you are feeling better. :y

I don't suppose you spoke much in the way of understandable English while she was helping you shower. :) ;)
