pretty useless.... enter Vauxhall, January 2001, petrol, automatic, and it doesn't even show any 3.2's !!!

Agreed.  It's pish.  ::)

Why didn't they set it up so that you can search from your reg no like the MOT checker?  ::)  If Euro Car Parts and ebay can find your vehicle then you'd have thought the government could!  ::)  :(

My local garage wont quote req numbers to the likes of ECP anymore, they quote chassis numbers now....too many wrong parts kept turning up using the reg number.....which suggests to me the reg no. lookup isn't that accurate....

I tried to check a car that I'm interested in buying.  I needed the month and date of first registration, then several drop down boxes later, I needed to know whether the car had a DPF or not, and what size the rear tyres are!  ::) 

WTF!  All I was trying to do was find out how much the VED is! ;D
