Took the Elite for M.o.T. today and as expected it failed[I never expect any of my cars to pass first time round]some welding needed on both sides at the front near where the sub frame mounts,3 brake pipes a spongy brake pedal and exhaust blowing.I will be getting a price tomorrow for this to be done,but I'm guessing that it'll likely be bean cans before long.Good job I've not yet fitted all the new cooling system parts I've bought for it!

Well I got a price in my head above which I wouldn't go for the welding and brake pipes.The garage have looked at it and given me a price £30 below my mental figure,so it's being repaired and meanwhile I've just ordered a cat back exhaust from eternalcar on flea bay.So it'll live on for another year at least.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it did Stemo ;D In reality the only reason I've kept it and keep chucking money at it is that since Maureen passed away two and a half years ago I've found I've got a sentimental streak that I didn't know existed in me.
