Title: Forte stuff - which one do I need
Post by: Chopsdad on 03 December 2006, 13:38:41
I don't want to buy stuff I wont use, we have Mick for that  ;D but looking at Forte stuff.

Yes or No:

Specialist Injector Cleaner £13
Advanced Motor Flush £2.50 at the mo
Gas Treatment £10

Emissions light still on so I thought it worth a go.

Why is emissions light on? What is DTC?

We've been here before, it started off with Lambda (now ok) and lately MAF - still think it's an airleak but thought injector cleaner wouldn't hurt.

Specialist Injector Cleaner - yes (I use Redex), though I don't think it will turn-off the Emissions light
Advanced Motor Flush - no
Gas Treatment - probably not needed if you are using Specialist Injector Cleaner

Ebay triple has ended £4.20.  I'll wait for Injector cleaner & buy it on it's own.  Other than Forte on Ebay is there anything else from Halfords you recommend that I can pick up with my shiny new trade card instead?

Did I mention Redex? The green label one.
