jeez just replaced mine on a 2.5 and it was immaculate, but I have owned it from 4 years old. Have you had antifreeze / corrosion inhibitor in it all the time. Don't suppose you know if it is the original?
-
Looks like its been running with weak antifreeze mix...
-
Yeesh! Good thing that you replaced that! :o
-
only replace it as it failed, NOT the thing you check as a mater of course, cam belt is new tho... woo hooo :y
-
Hope you gave it a good flush. There's a lot of crap missing from there.

how do you know? coz it's shiny? ::)
-
All the idlers and rollers are spotless and the belt "LOOKS" new
The guy who had it before me was diabetic, so was on dialasis and lost 1/2his foot so it was sitting on his drive for almost 9 months, he just started it to keep it lub'd on the top end. :y
-
If there's no proof or receipt for the cambelt and tensioners, then I would replace them ;)
-
newent..... hopefully :y
