Title: Anyone know about vectras

My brother in law has just got a vectra with a 1.8 engine, it has a bad oil leek and looks like its coming from the rocker cover top left as you look from the bonnet close to the timing belt cover. Do these suffer from the same problems as my omega.

Yes , in there own way, but its easier to change the gasket on the 4 pot Vectra ;)

muth easier then v6 need to do only  8 bolts ,
do some cleaning put new gasket and  job done :y

Not known a 1.8 veccy to blow its rocker gasket...  :-/

If it has....must be reason.......suggest you check the breathers on it  :y

was going to suggest it to him any way as he just got the car so doent know much about its history.
