Following on from the Spare Wheel thread and in the interests of research I've started a poll to find out how often people have punctures. :y
So we're talking a proper puncture where you had to change the wheel, use your can of goo or call out a breakdown service to get on your way again. :)
Slow punctures which you live with for 6 months before getting it fixed don't count. ::)
My last 'proper puncture' was about 4 years ago in the Omega and the space saver got used for the first time. ;)

Not telling you :P

Got one now. But suffering CBA.

About three years ago in the van after some stupid dry liner had dropped some screws in the car park, must be five or six in a car.
They don`t seem to be as frequent these days.

Well tempting fate I've voted, you watch now I'll probably get 4 tomorrow ;D

Got one now, and yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that, yea ok, its the same one, just needs re filling once a day, as the spare wont physically come out of the Boot because some Frecking Idiot has bolted a LPG Tank in the way >:(
Will get it fixed when I get fed up with pumping it up before I move off hopefully tomorrow. ::)

Can't remember several years ago, probably get one tomorrow now I've said this.

I don’t want to tempt fate but I had about two years ago I had a Saab that I loved for it’s over engineered quality but it suffered several punctures in under a year.
If that wasn’t enough the omega then got one in a nice new Dunlop and has since had all four replaced due to wear 🙁

1987 . Cant say the month but we recall the event. I took our Carlton in to. kwik Fit on Charles st , Leicester after work as exhaust was a bit noisy.
Up on the ramp, the “ technician” had a scan over car. I was behind him. We both saw the shiny head of a screw in the back tyre. Quick as a flash he ripped it out with a pair of pliers he produced from his pocket. Oh and yes it was not in an area that could be repaired.
We comfortably exceeded the average mileage of say 10k a year so more than 300k and for quite a few years ran two cars so might have been nearer 500k miles.
I was a passenger a few times with family last week and it was interesting how many times theydrove off line e.g.in the crap near a kerb. Just the sort of place you might get a puncture.

I got this one >:( doesn`t seem to be going down, but I can`t pull it out either.
I`ve got several spare CD pattern wheels with decent tyres, so once sorted I`ll get it back on the car

March last year, 1145pm, in the rain, running down into Bath. I heard a rumbling noise, then it became a bumping, so pulled up and investigated. Rear offside tyre was flat. I moved the car into a side road, on the level, changed the wheel, and was on my way within 10 minutes.
