Title: Battery query.
Post by: 2boxerdogs on 07 February 2018, 12:09:12: The Merc battery is giving up the ghost no idea how old it is may even be original got all bills/ receipts but no record of battery replacement, what's the opinion of the ones Halfords sell prices from £113 - £170, 3year guarantee 5 year guarantee,to lifetime guarantee all in stock.

It's not just Halfords that do it.
If you buy a cheap battery with a short guarantee, you're gambling that it will last longer.
If you buy an expensive guarantee, the supplier is gambling that it will last longer.

I picked one today from e.c.p using code weekend 30 for £55 with a 3yr warranty.
