Title: Man flu.
Post by: Bigron on 16 February 2018, 18:04:40
We are all suffering here, my son, 'er indoors and me. Of course, as the world now knows, it is far more severe for us men and I am convinced that the world is coming to an end any time soon; feak and weeble, with aches everywhere...... :( :( :(

Just getting to the back end of mine, ten days now and still got a hacking cough. Wifey is on her way home for a weeks half term, said she has a sore throat and feels a bit 'distant'.
I'll probably spend the week looking after her now.

Yes.....but nothing a sharp tap with a 4lb lump hammer won't cure.  :)

Yes: I'm sure Denis Potter was bonkers, but he wrote some great dramas.
I loved "Black Eyes" too, but I don't expect you did - n ot for the same reasons, anyway!  :D

No, haven't heard of that one Ron.

My other favourite Dennis Potter is the original TV series Pennies from Heaven that launched the career of Bob Hoskins.  Superb!! :-* :-* 8) 8)

Yes, that was surreal! Also Hoskins' finest part; he went on to be too far up himself. Pity.

Does that come under BBC Northern Ireland, BBC Scotland or BBC Wales as there is no BBC England as that is apparently, according to their Marxists, racist. >:( >:( >:(
