A year today the UK is due to formally leave the European Union and enter a transition or implementation period until 31st December 2020. :y
However as not much seems to be changing during this period, it is pretty much an extension of the UK's membership of the EU. :(
So when should Independence Day be? ??? :)

Bet you can't guess what I voted ;D

Independence day is the 29th March 2019. That is when we finally leave the EU.
However, the EU will still tell us what we can and can't do for (at least) another couple of years after that......maybe longer. ::)

Sounds more like a BRINO than a genuine BREXIT. :)
-
It will never happen, before then we'll be under Military State Rule by the Russians and Putin will be calling the shots.
-
Went with March 29th...
Although given the degree of anticlimax surrounding the event, perhaps New Years Eve is more appropriate ::)
-
April 1st sounds more apt. ;)

Come the 29th March or 1st April 2019 I doubt we will see two suns rise in the sky instead of one.
As STMO says......he'll walk the whippet and then have his dinner exactly like before.

According to some, the sky will fall in on the 29th March or whenever we are a free, independent, sovereign nation again. ::)
