Title: 1918 US-UK-Islay The sinking of SS Tuscania & HMS Otranto

One sunk by a U-boat and the other by a navigation error which resulted in over 700 death. :'(

Two tragic events at a time of many tragic events and a very poignant story of humanity towards others in distress.

Amazing that a small remote community dealt with the aftermath of both tragedies without any help from the outside world.
