Title: Aircon Temp sensor location
Post by: Freelander on 18 May 2018, 09:30:29
Hi I'm trying to resuscitate the climate system on a V6 3.2 estate. The codes show that the L/H cabin vent temp sensor is not working, which means the system never gets a message to start up. So far no-one has been able to locate it and the local dealer can't help. Would anyone know where the sensor is exactly and how to get access. Thanks in advance.

What is the code?

So far as I know the cabin temp sensor it is behind the 2 slits in the photos. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90507.0

Have a good read because it does mention the temp sensors (ECC models).

I expect someone will confirm or correct if I'm wrong.

Hope this helps.

I suspect you may be right. If you are, the OP will need a replacement climate panel, which is quite a quick, cheap job. So good news.  :y

Thanks for the response-the chap who come to re-gas read the code so I didn't see it. Both responses suggest it is in the same place so we will dig in there. Cheers
