Title: Dead...but not!
Post by: BazaJT on 30 May 2018, 20:00:55
It was reported earlier that a journalist opponent of Putin had been shot dead in Kiev-guess who was getting the blame ::)-then some time later the "victim" of this assassination turned up at a press conference :o

Yes a sting to flush out a supposed Russian assassin who was after the journalist.  ::)

I hope it worked as it was a terrible thing to subject his family and friends to.  :-\

It has also played into the hands of the Russians who claim that stories of their assassinations are all "fake news". ::)

The bad news is I can see fall out from the operation causing problems in the future. :(

The good news is that two Ukrainians have been arrested over the murder plot, presumable from SBU SIGINT when they contacted their Russian handler. :y :y :y

Russia is getting much tougher with emigree Russians abroad & the Kremlin announced last week that any like Chess World Champion Boris Kasparov, who is an exile in the US, can expect to be targeted if they promote sanctions against them. So we can expect the amount of wet work carried out in the West to increase. Anybody ready for a cup of Putin's best Polonium tea or a bottle of his Novichok fragrance perfume! :o :o :o

Based on what I was reading earlier this week, the top bods at Apple might want to watch out for that after Russia told them to block access to Telegram (encrypted messaging app, for those who don't know) or "face action"..

Their encryption stops their SVR, FSB & GRU security services snooping on messages. There are also many US tech companies & main stream & specialist media ones that have Russian shareholders of influence. Seen a lot of comments from ex-spooks, ex-FBI and state prosecutors where several of the tech company leaders may end up doing jail time with Zuckerberg always top of their list. :o :o :o
