Surprised nobody mentioned this earlier in the week.

I suspect the likes of Beemer will be next.


But we all know MB can't design cars, only fling together whats in the parts bin....

Mines been "thrown together brilliantly" mind it was 20 years ago, before all this emission nonsense started !

If yours is one designed before the mid nineties, its probably a half decently designed car (in its day, obviously) :y. Its the stuff launched from around 2000 thats simply not designed in the traditional manor, but built from supplier parts catalogues.

Bro has a almost 2yr old S Class, and you can see as soon as to sit in it that the designer was given a load of bits he had to use, and hasn't really spent any time trying to make them look right together.  I think he gets rid of it this month...  ...good riddance.

It was pretty obvious once VW were sussed that they weren't going to be the only ones with dirty linen.I believe Renault admitted some time ago that they had and now Mercedes.Are they the only ones? Very unlikely I'd think.
