Can sort a picture out but can't post it ::)

Slam panels are same from start to finish, so lock pin  alignment shouldn't be an issue  :-\

The spring assembly pin thingy that is screwed into the bonnet is adjustable
it can move about 5mm in any direction to adjust it to go into the hole in the slam panel
also adjust how much tension is on that spring
I know this because i had to adjust mine
what i would say is ,adjust the cable first and get that bang on and fully tight ,
remove the grill (a few screws behind) before messing with the bonnet mech
if you don't , and you mess up the adjustment , can't open the bonnet ,
you may have to trash the grill to get at the gubbins  :y

as you can probably work out , I have NO clue what the parts are actually called  ;D

Despite adjusting the cable on mine it still wont open unless someone leans on the bonnet. and the clip on the slam panel is none to clever looking either...

Like DG, I can go out and take a photo for you, but cannot seem to post any pics.
I'm sure there's a guide in the maintenance section somewhere, in full detail. It may be under "replacing the bonnet catch", or somesuch.

Ron.

I can probably do a pic of mine, though it is not adjusted 100% correct yet , needs more tension putting on
bonnet sits too high , but as i am removing the bumper for paint soon , i left it (working but high)
