I used to take a pride in running seven cars for my family, now the cars are getting old, so am I, and I find it hard work. Next car, MOT expires 7th July, is Ben's 1999 2.2, the one I was dreading. After emptying it of 2 bags of rubbish last night, I gave it a preliminary inspection.
Diagnostic live data was encouraging; O2 loop soon closed, and mixture lambdas 1 & 2 switched lean-rich-lean-rich commendably. Removed cill covers and found a little rust at the back both sides, but I've seen worse. Nasty external hole in front base of n/s rear wheel arch worried me most.

easy enough to sort a problem if you know what the problem is
stick a metal plaster on it with a sparky gun ;D
hope you don't find anything else and you have an easy time of it this MOT :y

It will need quite a big plaster.
