Title: Another day, Another RAC Windscreens debacle
Post by: Kevin Wood on 16 August 2008, 13:00:18
Mrs. KW got her windscreen replaced under her insurance by the above in may last year. They did an average job. Managed to butcher the scuttle retaining screws and lose the caps, of course but otherwise OK.

Today she receives in the post a bill for the work. >:(

Time to shift into "snotty letter writing mode".

By the same token, Emma's was over a year ago. Apparently they are "reviewing their accounts" (sorting out the mess that is their admin system, reading between the lines).

Daughter got a bill through the week as well for work done a year past easter.

The chap in the fitting centre got the benefit of my both barrells, grade A, gold star, 100% hairdryer talking to treatment as I waved the copy of the cash payment receipt that he signed when the car was done....

Bunch of pillocks..... >:(

Emma's just found a receipt confirming payment was made.  <reaches for a pair of cartridges>

Sounds like a fiddle to me as well Captain Zok! ;)

How many invoices have they sent out to companies with poor accounts departments that have just paid up without checking they have actually been paid months ago? :o :o :o   Just 1% would be worth a bob or two! >:(
