Title: Number plate
Post by: BazaJT on 21 July 2018, 07:53:15
Saw a car being loaded with shopping on supermarket car park last night the number plate read W I F I. I'd have thought that was a real candidate for a tug from the local constabulary.

The only ones who might give it a tug are traffic cops, not your common or garden plod. When was the last time you saw a proper traffic cop?

The new MOT test has something in it about excessively loud exhausts IIRC, but I'll bet there is no change in the amount of knobs who drive around with a baked bean tin sticking out the back. People can, more or less, do as they like.

By the way, when you next vislt North Korea I suggest you leave the whippet back home in Barnsleywakefield. He'll be on the menu if you don't. :)

Although we are spied on more via CCTV than North Koreans, or any other nation on earth.  ;)

Although I'm not generally a fan of personalized number plates, I saw D8VON on the M4 this evening.  :y

When was the last time you saw a proper traffic cop?
Frequently. In my mirrors. For miles.

Then you're unlucky/lucky whichever way you look at it. I haven't seen an actual traffic cop for months.

Did they have their blue lights on? If so, I think you're meant to stop for them  :P ;D
