Looked into my usual (Turkish) barbers at 10 o'clock and it was very busy. They obviously don't pay much attention to the 10 o'clock opening time. Walked about 50 yards up the road to a new one that opened last week (Kurdish Iranian) and he was empty, so went in.
I asked him how things were going and he told me tales of barber wars. Even before he opened he had received death threats and, now open, he receives regular visits with offers he can't refuse.
Cosmopolitan Barnsley eh? ;D

Don't think I'd trust a blind barber especially if he uses an old 'cut-throat razor' :)

If indeed he is Kurdish . . . . Well I used to live near an area of London with a high Turkish popluation. They really and I mean REALLY do not like Kurds
-
I'm not saying the Barber was blind , he was being paid, by his one and only customer,
But, if Mr Stemo did live next door to a guide dog training school, that would explain why he keeps hearing voices "Who's a handsome boy then, fetch the ball" :y

She is called Mrs STMO but is about 30 years younger than the old boy. More his 'carer' really. :)
I believe she helps with his medication. :)

I always use one of two English barbers.I've nothing against other nationalities but when I've used them in the past and I walk in and say I want my hair shortened and thinned it confuses the hell out of me when they ask if I mean a number 2 or a number 3 or some other number as I haven't a clue what they're talking about :-\

Do mine myself every 10 days either a zero or a number one however the mood takes me ! Be quite happy if the little bit I've got left disappeared completely.

It's Hot weather
I may do a "number 2" later ;D

I go out for a couple of hours and come back to a thread filled with piss taking and abuse.
Glad nothing unusual happened while I was out. ;D

would i need anything else ? :y
-
:( Sadly my hair style options are very limited these days ( number 2 and eyebrows sorted ) a couple of years ago my not usual barber asked me how I wanted it cutting , I said just like Brian May - blank look , who's he ? came back the reply , the conversation dried up at this point :(

No. It will need a Bose amp / speakers/ loom installed and a new loom manufactured, or taken from the donor car and modified to fit between the drivers kick panel and the head unit and screen.
Might get more advice if you post a seperate thread in the elictrickery section. ;)

That's very helpful Migv6 :y
enough info to confirm my suspicion that it would be a PITA to do, I'd need more parts
which my brain has just calculated the probability of doing it all, to conclude......
CBA
I will stick with my aftermarket head unit and stick on the screen Garmin 205 Nav :)

Ah yes.. in the 1990s you had the Brits taking off from Incirlik to protect the Kurds, while the Turks took off from their airbase just up the road to bomb them ::)

Hmmmm......think I'll try to find a nice English barber next time. ;D

You ought to come over here STEMO as I said there are two very near me that I choose between depending how much time I have spare. One is an older chap who's a solo operator rarely too busy so reasonably quick to be in/out of if I'm pressed for time. The other is staffed by 4 young females[3 blondes and a brunette] :-* :-* Can't think why but they're always very busy ::) ;D ;D ;D
