I've been helping my other half revise for her theory test (she's mid 30s, I'm not a cradle snatcher .. well, not with this one, anyway ;D) and now I realise how much I take for granted what some of the pictograms mean - brake warning light, for example; I know it's a depiction of brake shoes, but if someone doesn't know what brake shoes are because all they've ever seen are discs...
