Title: Half term break
Post by: STEMO on 27 August 2018, 21:16:44
Just booked a 4 night break for me and wifey in Helmsley in North Yorkshire at half term. 3 bed  house (big house)right in the centre of the village, looks lovely. Now the price....inc. £25 for the dog......£252! I'll save half of that on fuel bills  ;D

It's called Colville house and it's on Yorkshire cottages...have a look. Bargain.

Looks like a large and pleasant detached house. :y

It is a 'house of multiple occupancy' or HMO as the DSS likes to call it, so you may need to share the bathroom and kitchen with some nice people from Romania. :)

I noticed one very unusual thing on the property description.......'smoking allowed'. Very unusual.

When you get there you'll be able to roll up a biggun, put your feet up in front of the fire and relax.......... Maan!  ;D

There's a cafe in the market square called "the Sugared Butterfly" or similar. Highly recommended, especially the cream tea.

Omnomnom.

It's also the law that you have to have a drive along the entirety of the B1257, and the B1363. Both cracking roads.

Possibly. But in a diesel estate with a dog in the back and an earache in the passenger seat.......maybe not.
