Bloody hell, just going over the logs, Yandex robot (the indexing engine of a large Russian search engine/portal) has racked up 103,000 hits to OOF in August alone :o

I've done 7000 hits in this time, and are 4th in the 'top hits list'. 2nd is a certain Zen user from the Welsh border ;)

I think your excusefinder needs upgrading, poor attempt.
I won't say who the top hitter is, namely because I don't know. I think I know, but can't be bothered to check it...

In layman's terms ( that is to say in a way I can understand it :-[ ) what does that mean ? Trying to suss out all this web site stuff ... have to learn how to promote mine !!!!!

You could start by puttng it in your Signature.
Google has a ranking system that partly uses the amount of linked sites on yours. My web site was ranked much higher when I used it as an RSS reader with half a dozen feeds linked to different sites. (Was 5, now 13 for "Bandit127")

Means its read 100,000 of our pages (200,000 last month!), but only 1 user has ended up here as a result of using Yandex's index (me).

had mine set up for a while :)
Should really go over the logs on my sites, although I did reset them a few weeks ago so they only date back to about the 12th...
