Title: Mad cow disease....
Post by: STEMO on 18 October 2018, 13:24:09
......has been discovered on a farm in Aberdeenshire. I really hope it is contained, it would be the last thing that the farming community needs right now. Things are already bad after the extremes of weather we had this year.

Farmers are one of the types of people I really respect. Not many people put in the hours of hard graft that they do.

Agreed.  Both selfishly for myself - can't beat a nice bit of cow - but also for the farming industry that has had a rough time, and has a load more shit to come  :'(

I can see the usual do-gooders and lentil munchers will see it as a reason to ban meat.

There is a two-hander with Warren Mitchell and Arthur English in the middle of this episode that had me rolling on the floor - it relates to BSE, so is on topic:-

Hopefully just an isolated incident where there have several isclated cases in England over the last 10 years with no major outbreak.

I had to laugh at the Matt cartoon. Two farmers leaning on a gate looking at there herd of cow with a cow in the middle on its hind legs, front legs splayed with a sign in one "I support Chequers". ;D ;D ;D
