I have the chance of a 54 reg Vectra Elite 2.2 DTI auto so i am now thinking of selling my 03 reg Omega Elite 2.2 DTI but i want to know what sort of money i could get for it so your help is needed :y
Vauxhall Omega saloon 2.2 DTI 03 reg in silver.
143,000 miles with full service history.
Full Elite spec with black leather, auto wipers, rear park sensor and rear blind.
Just having done today the rear windows tinted by SMD in WSM.
The car has MOT till Feb and has TAX till next July.
If it's worth enough i might sell and i know the Vectra is not as nice but it's newer and auto.

difficult to price currently - in its favour, diesel, but omegas are wortless currently.
imho, the tinting detracts though, as does the high mileage...
I'm guessing iro £2 - £2.5k :-/

I will just add that my omega is in mint condition.
Having never had an auto FWD what is the auto box like on the Vectra. The Vectra that's come up for sale come in over the weekend and the guy at the garage phoned me this morning to tell me about. It's done 90,000 miles and is silver with black leather but that's as much as i know at the mo.

Head over to www.vectra-c.com and have a read re. common problems etc.

Only 18 months newer.
Not sure how good the WWD autos are.

Might actually help, not that the 2.2DTi is ever going to be a race car. Mates 3.2 manual Veccy-C has severe problems with initial traction, and getting power down through corners. I reckon an auto may soften the traction requirements

That is because 3.2 is too big an engine for that car.

too big for the steered wheels rather than the whole car. :y

Don't do it! stick with your meega.
Don't know about the new shape vectra but my dads is a 51 reg 2.2 auto. it isn't smooth moving off or through the gears. feels a bit sluggish too.
