I know quite a few people like their "cherished plates" or whatever term you wish to use but even though it might be quite special I think that the £460K recently paid for RR1 is still a bit extreme.

you'd think it would be cheap,only 2 letters and 1 number :-\
years ago,next door to my mum had P1 LOT or P11 LOT on a BMW ,which cost him more than the BMW . guess what he did as a job ;D
they won't let me buy KN08 HED :(

Reportedly, some years back an underwear manufacturer had BRA36 as his numberplate, in honour of his wife's "vitals"! 8)
