Heard good things about OSRAM XENARC NIGHT BREAKER LASER D2S. Can anybody confirm if they have used them & they fit Omega? https://www.amazon.co.uk/XENARC-BREAKER-brightness-discharge-66240XNL-HCB/dp/B07FYTN7VF

My go to replacement xenon bulbs :y

Worth the money...if you like to see where you are going at night ;D.
Have them in mine and transformation is quite staggering :y
-
They are on my X-mas wish list, I hope Santa thinks that I have behaved :D

Replacement of the bulbs is a mechanic job, due too the voltage?

Easiest done with the headlights removed... this is because you have three small torx screws to undo within the unit in order to remove the bulb cover and access isn't great in situ.
Takes 15 minutes a side including removing/refitting the headlights and a cup of tea :y

HID bulbs degrade over time, so if yours are original, then evern poundland HIDs will be a massive improvement.
Osram is my preferred bulb.
I wouldn't remove headlight, but probably would remove airbox and battery.
-
Oh, and don't lick you fingers and turn on lights whilst holding the HV contacts. That could smart a bit.

In order:
Spot on
Never have cared about brands.
That's quicker and easier than removing the headlights. If you've small hands, good dexterity and a box of plasters you might not need to remove the battery

Not sure replacing a HID bulb without removing the lamp is a viable option ,as those small screws that hold the bulb cover in could go anywhere if dropped, and for the sake of 3 very accessible machine screws and a simple headlight clip trim and the entire lamp moves forward enough to get at everything

Didn't it take two of us to refit one your lamps? :)
And a stubby magnetic ratchet screwdriver deals with the screws :y

So true but my eyes aren't that good now and "as the actress said to the bishop...cant find the ole !! " ;D ;D
Have removed and replaced headlights more times than I care to now remember and I would sooner take lamp out and be able to see what Im trying to undo than fiddle behind the battery and air box.
Just my opinion but that day wasn't a good example and I can normally get that bottom screw in quite simply ;)

All the decent stuff is around the same price, £40ish per bulb. Osram, Phillips and so on. My experience of Halfords (GE I believe) is poor - about 6 months, and they are pinkish, and hopeless illumination with oncoming traffic.
The £15 fake stuff and other Chinese attempts don't last well, and means doing it again next year. And in the case of the Jaaaggg, that is a proper ballache, as the bumper has 10 million screws before it will come off

MFL Omegas with head lights washers are also a ball ache as the washers don't allow easy removal of the headlight

Meh... The lower bolt is readily accessible from underneath ::)

so .... not easily removed then ::)
ISTR that the washer itself got in the way :-\ all irrelevant now anyway ;) ;)

True as neither own an Omega :D
Access is good enough from ramps to get either a 1/4" socket or an 8mm ratchet spanner on to it :y
Facelift access is straight in from the space left by popping the trim out :y

Indeed, bumper has to come off on them to remove headlights. Hence I always change the bulbs on Omegas in situ. Sadly not an option on the Jaaaggg
