As title...just wondering if these would have scrap value....and would with/without tyres make much difference.
Basically can't be bothered to refurb mine as just picked up another set...and probably worth pennies if sold as they are.

I heard a fiver each mentioned in this neck of the woods,it was about 8 months ago so may have risen since then.
not sure what difference tyre makes . :-/

You would get something, as the amount you get depends on the total weight. You would however, have to remove the lead weights stuck to the inside of the rims.
The more, the merier.
If you dont have a lot, I would stick them on ebay. You will get more for them.
Hope this helps. :y

i weighed in 4 old alloys two weeks ago and got £25 , however i cleared out some sheds yesterday at an old garden nursery and got 50p per kilo on alloy , my advice is sell em on ebay or hold on to them

Sounds like there not worth much at scrappies and ebay sending would cost more than there worth.
Might just take them to dump. :(

Hmmm trouble is its a trek to local scrappy...so £20 hardly worth it.
Big headge deep ditch....sorted. ;D

What sort are they?
If there like the mini facelift CDx alloys I might have them off you as mine are getting a bit tired and I could refurb them before fitting

I took a car down the scrappie last week and got £100/ton for the car, a £5er for each wheel (with tyres) and £20 for the cat. Make the most of it whilst scrap is still booming! :y

I could always use more rims for the track car......preferabley of the 16" variety, and for the right price ;)
