Hi Guys,
I think my CDC2 has finally given up to the ghost, water appears to have dripped from the boot hinge into the player. Any players out there available that we can connect to the Vaux system. Or, there were other similar units made for other vehicle types, would they be adaptable ?
My unit has the following numbers:
FB
Type: CDC2
No: 90 566 830
W1G
Little Sticker:
CDC2/8978
GMCDC2W0614269
Made In Portugal

Hi Ron,
thanks for the reply, you are about 1 1/2 hours from me, I suppose we should establish if it will work. I am sure someone must know if its compatible.
Mine is a 1998 Elite 2.5 and yours is 2003 Face-lift, can anyone tell us if these are compatible CD players. I will see if I can get any pictures of my connections on here for you to look at.

You have to make sure it's the right one, there are differences with ones that are fitted to cars with CCRT700 head units if I remember correctly.

The facelift will have a double din head unit, the lower section is a CDC3 which is a different beast to a CDC2
