Had a nice surprise from Euro Car Parts today.....needed a battery for the Omega......£90.99. I put in their xmas75 code and it came to....£50

Or any other trade supplier which, despite all the hype, is ECP's real business. The deal each buyer gets depends on all sorts of things, as anyone who has bought stuff professionally will tell you.
The quoted retail price is so that you have a good idea what to charge your customer.

No, these are the prices they charge their retail customers, not the trade prices they charge their business customers, which are significantly lower, as well you know.
