I believe that part number is for earlier V6 with a rectangular connector. Yours should be either 90492061 (Siemens) or more likely 90540743 (Bosch). These have oval sides on the connector so they won't fit the rectangular type. The Siemens and the Bosch are not interchangeable even though they will both fit. The only way to reliably tell whether yours is Siemens or Bosch is to look at the numbers on the sensor head.

I don't think that the sensor with the rectangular side is fully compatible with the oval versions.

See if you can post up a pic of the numbers on the sensor, to aid positive ID.

Don't need to, it's early square type plug.  Brand new in the bag with gm label on. So best do a for sale advert later.

I meant a pic of the one that's on the car at the moment. It could be a Siemens or a Bosch. More likely to be a Bosch. The GM part number might or might not be on the sensor head, but it will always have a Bosch logo and Bosch numbers of some description. At least if it's a factory original as opposed to aftermarket.

Later ones definitely Bosch. Rounded plug iirc as per Debs guide  ;)

The GM 90540743 sensor, that you likely need, either from GM/Opel or Bosch should be a Bosch 0 261 210 131. If these prove pricey then maybe consider a Valeo aftermarket which apparently comes with a 5 year warranty @ £23.72 delivered. Please see here.
