In the news today: More than a quarter of British drivers have been on a speed awareness course, netting the police £50million last year (police claim about £45 of the fee for administration costs).
That's a lot of awareness. ;D

Always thought they were a nice earner for someone , the course I was on last year had over 30 people on it , and on that day there was 3 courses running all of which were full .
-
I am thoroughly aware of the speed I travel at ;D :o :y

"Safety" is expensive these days! :-X
Ron.

Did one about 7 years ago, it was quite interesting but as usual on any course you get one knobhead who wants to keep asking questions & talking shite , when all everyone else wants is to get it over & get home, I explained the error of his ways to him over lunch , fortunately he took the hint.
-
Presumably when all , or say 90% as you would never get everyone, have been on the course a revamped “need for speed 2” course will apply.

I see they just sent someone to the slammer for fitting a laser jammer to his car (naturally the Daily Fail had to tell us the value of his house and where lives, as well).
Can't have someone evading their duty to awareness, you know!

Does your car have one of those red needle things that moves depending how fast you're going, too? :o ;D

Mine's got one of them. The problem is, sometimes you're going too fast to look at it. :-X

It depends in the context of how you read my statement.
also, if you know me, you will know which it refers to ;)

It's a garage door opener, or a parking sensor....
Probably find he went thro the same trap on more than one occasion. Then a policeman visited him..
Had a garage door opener on a previous omega, and it worked very well, Allegedly. :o According to the previous owner ::)
