First round of this years MotoGP has just finished. Not going to spoil things for anyone who is yet to see it but all three races were great to watch :y Makes me wonder though how much faster they can get the big bikes to go,speeds down the start/finish straight were in the high 340's KPH with one bike[albeit possibly with a bit of slipstream help]achieving 352KPH :o

Yep, the MotoGP race was brilliant. Cant have been much more than a second between the top six finishers. :y
The race was won by a margin of 0.023 seconds. Makes F1 look quite tame. :)

That is some speed on two wheels
Week to go to start of F1

You've obviously never had the thrill of having a big powerful chopper (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chopper_(motorcycle)) between your legs Lizzie ::)

A much different experience altogether on two wheels. Much more exciting and involving. Like riding a horse compared to riding in a carriage being pulled along by a horse. :)
Never managed 219mph (352km/h) on either two or four wheels though. ;D

They may be slowing down a bit at the time but the wind blast that hits them when they pop up from under the bubble must be quite phenominal. One young rider in Moto3 broke his collar bone last week flew half way round the world to get home and have it operated on then flew to Qatar and qualified for the race. What are these guys made from?

No Dave, and never will! :D :D
A ride on the pillion seat of my Dad's Lambretta in 1964 put me off going on two wheels for good. :-X :-X
