Title: Can the alloy HP air con pipe be compression fixed
Post by: Andy A on 07 April 2019, 19:55:54
My Sons partners Nissan Note 2006 manual was in an accident and the alloy HP hose has snapped off at the dryer end right next to the rad. If I get another dryer connection part of the pipe from a scrapper can they be joined together with a compression fitting?

Thanks

Yes,  as long as it's gas tight, trucks run 8-10bar and when a pipe splits/brakes brass compression fitting are used. Always wondered could you use compression fittings..on aircon.
