Tidying up under the bonnet of the Astra, saw this, realised it's not part of the car, won'der what it is. Diagnostic tool perhaps?

Looks like a mini torch :-\

It's a rechargeable LED inspection lamp. Good one too, you need to scrounge a charger for it. Although it might work off a USB lead

Terry it's on of them new fangled torches that don't need batteries.

Im always loosing them. Magnets are great, till you go for a cup of tea and foget all about it ;D

Thank you gentlemen. Nick was right, plugged in a USB lead, red light came on, left it overnight, in the morning light had turned green, and it had become a powerful inspection light. It has 2 hooks and 3 magnets to attach it to things, jolly useful tool. I had recently mislaid my cheap screwfix torch, and this light proved very useful. I later recalled that I last used the cheap torch refitting my backbox, and left it on top of the backbox. I wonder it it's still there?
