I'm going to have to order some euro style plates. Oh 'dangle berries'.
Any good, cheap suppliers? Presumably I need front and back.

Why? For driving in Euland? ???
Dosn't a GB sticker suffice anymore? :-\

I aint sticking a sticker on, as they don't always come off cleanly.

stick it on the rear window.
Or use a magnetic one.

I drove in Europe without euro-style plates or GB when I had my Omega. I'd expect Pierre Plod has better things to do with his time.

Which is what I have stuck to the side of my tool chest. But it relies on steel bodywork to work...

I'll be in Northern France, where the official cheese eating surrender monkeys are more used to driving brits to the cashpoint...

Go somewhere more pleasant then, which is just about anywhere. ::) :P

Nought wrong with France*. In fact its far more pleasant that this place, based on the fact that the population is lower, yet the country is 4 times the size. The people are friendly and welcoming.
*excluding Paris and Calais, both of which are horrible places, on a par with Londonium.

Just stick a GB sticker on the boot. ;D, or even on rear screen.

The rear screen is pretty raked, so I can see the gay cheese munchers using that as an excuse. And I'd have to buy a sticky one.
The paintwork is too soft to cleanly get a sticker off it. I can't even get the red paint from my neighbours car out of the door, as its embedded itself into the paint. Besides, I'd have to buy a sticker.
So its easier to just buy new plates :). I can't even use those aftermarket GB/Euro blue stickers for the numberplate, as I haven't got room :(

I can organise a magnetic Brexit party emblem for you if you want. :y ;D ;D
Micky has the French well sussed. ;) ;D

Given that you have to prove ID and show the V5 these days and with your woeful ebay record, it's probably best to go to your local accessory shop. :)

If you're going near any big city, consider getting a Crit'dAir sticker. Otherwise, you could be banned from driving if the pollution levels in the city get too high. Costs about £3
https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en
Beware, there are loads of scam websites that will charge you more !
Also, the 'diplomatic immunity' of British cars being caught by speed cameras in France seems to have expired. They've got their act together and worked out how to track down UK drivers, and dozens of people driving to Ski resorts this/last winter are now whinging about being done for being 'only' 5Km/h over the limit.

They have a reciprocal arrangement with DVLA, has happened across Europe, but from what I've heard, doesn't seem to be working from us to them., Eg Dartford toll, etc.
