In 18yrs of living in Brakkers, I have always missed the carnival. I sadly missed the soapbox derby last weekend as well.
I never seem to miss the beer festival though....

I'm sure at some point TB will build a float in his garage & most of Brackley will inherit some of the float's pyrotechnics. ::) ::) ::)
I need to get out to Normandy in the next 12 months or so & sort out my very overgrown house, near La Haye du Puits, where I haven't been driving or visiting due to my eyesight. :( :( :(

Wow, that's a name from the past: we used to drive through there on the way to the beach when I was a kid staying at my uncle's cottage at Vindefontaine.
