I seem to recall a kid's party where the 'unicorn' was in fact a horse with a large pink dildo strapped to it's head.

Apparently it fooled the assorted 5 year olds but not their mothers........who were rather annoyed. ::)

The party organizer should have given all the mothers "unicorn horns" ,I'm sure they would have been satisfied   then  ;D

If you look at the royal coat of arms you will see a lion and a unicorn flanking the crest, with the unicorn in chains.
This is because unicorns are very dangerous beasts and can only be tamed by a virgin - if any can be found!  ;D

Well that's that ordeal[the party not Ann Widdecombe :D]survived.I love spending time with the greatgrandkids[how the hell did I get old enough to have 4 of those ???]but near 20 other screaming ankle biters that I don't know is pushing the boundaries a bit.Still the weather was such that they could spend time in the back garden and when it started getting a bit much I could wander into the front garden for a fag.No jelly sadly but there was ice cream and a piece of home baked birthday cake :-*

Can't recall last time I had jelly as a stand alone dessert, never a fan of blancmange.I have had shop bought trifles which I've found to be invariably rubbish and prefer to make my own-so jelly comes into the equation in that respect.

My son has announced he intends to make me a  Grandad within a couple of years. I have announced I intend to emigrate.
My days of having noisy ankle biters running around me are well and truly over.  ::)

Forget it all the UK's shops are sold out, my 9yo daughter owns all of the worlds unicorns from keyrings to every size & shape & colour of cuddly toy. I have wound her up for years by saying it's a rhino & she retords dad, it's a unicorn, a unicorn,  ;D bless my little princess. :y She's a real daddy's girl & I love her to pieces. She's a budding artist & already puts my get the job done, computer programmer graphics in it's place. In the past I've done lots of 3d graphics programming, so I will leave it another year or two before introducing her to the world of perspective into her very, very good, for her age, 2d art. :y

Being a grandad gives you all the joys of seeing a new born baby develop over 20 years into an amazing young adult. You get all the great highlights, without all the sleepless nights. :y My 14yo grandson from my eldest daughter has been going to collage part time where he is a plodder & wants to be a motor mechanic & work for an F1 team! My 10yo middle grandson is mad on computers, so I think is is going to follow in his grandad's steps here, my youngest 8yo grandson excels at everything where he is exceptionally intelligent, so he is excelling at school & has everything to go for. :y Like our children & now our grand children & hopefully our great grand children they are our futures, where we are all passing though in our 'seconds of live' in the billions of years of the universe before us & after us in the grand scheme of things.

Each to their own and all that. I have zero interest, although that might change when it happens.  ;)
